An interesting and useful "quiz"...

mine seems around 30 but I think it may be better (some things not included in the quiz might be materials used, atmosphere at work, character(?) of boss....)

Man, some of the higher scores, um, would you mind posting the names of these schools, and are they hiring?

Yeah, the quiz is a good jumping off point. There are many more things I would add to it.

If properly used, this can be a great tool to weed out the subjective fluff that some teachers post in blacklists, from the stuff that has real issues. It won't be 100% spot on, but it can be a lot better than reading some guy spouting off stuff and we are supposed to believe him, for the sole fact that we have common traits of being foreign english-speaking teachers.

Hopefully when newbs are qualifying schools by getting contact info of current and past teachers, maybe those teachers will nice enough to fill one of those out.

My hogwon scored a 92. But there were items not there that would raise the score (in my eyes, anyway)

The area is wonderful. I can walk to beaches.
The air is clean.
The boss and supervisor are great.
The kids are really nice ones.
The work load is not heavy.
I rarely come home upset.

These items were not there. (and if they were I skipped over them). So, you can see my score above, but with these added items, I rate my school 200%

And with that said, I am leaving after 2 years. Why? Because I only want to teach young children. I do not want to teach middle school students, and I have some of those.
Currently the students I teach are ages 4 till 16, and the ones that make me the happiest are ages 5, 6, and 7. The new school I am going to will give me mostly those ages. (O.K. some may think i'm nuts, but that is what makes me happy) So, if you are looking for a great job....PM me.

Also good points. Main things is, if you are content, that's all that matters. if not....such a quiz might not matter anyway.
