Why does that prof/TA have handwriting like a fifth grade student? I smell a rat. |

I was thinking the same thing.
It's also kind of suspicious that the prof would actually bother reading the whole thing, and spend the time circling every profanity the whole way through. |

Obviously it's a fake. The prof even did a grammatical error. To see how elite you are, try to find out where it is! |

I worked as a universtiy TA (teaching assistant), and it really wouldn't surpise me if this were real. A lot of markers use short, point-form sentences for comments. And some of them don't have an ounce of critical thinking or humour in their bodies. As an undergrad I once had to do a Latin assignment that was so infantile I decided to write it in wax crayon. And the instructor actually marked it and took it seriously (I got my history prof. to help me with the Latin writing so I also actually got a good mark).
In fact, since this is a paper on classics, I can't help but wonder if the marker wasn't one Ms (now presumably Dr) Wong of UBC. The comments on the paper are completely her. She knew six languages well and was completely intellectually useless. Does anyone know where this paper is from?
At any rate, it's pretty obvious that if this is a real paper the student is way the hell smarter than the instructor. |

Guess I should have used the word committed?
I thought I was going to get flamed for the missing comma |
