Has anyone heard about or have any reliable information regarding the K Gov't attempting to (once again) set maximum fees for Hakwons?

It seems that the K-Gov't is trying to "improve" the public school system by forcing Hakwons to provide even crappier service and in many cases forcing them out of business.

From what I have heard Hakwons charging more than 150 000 won per month will lose their licences and be forced to close.

Anyone else heard of this madness.

As you know the search function is suspect at best.

It's been in place for quite some time. I know that the maximum was 60,000 for adult classes when I first arrived here. Sounds like the hogwan has become the gov'ts target this month.

Ya right....I would sure like to see the government enforce this. The hagwon industry would suffer too much.
