I've never been to Chili Chili's, but I'm willing to bet it's crap. Pancho's is the closest I've had to decent Mexican here, but that's not saying terribly much.
At least they don't put baked beans in the burrito. |

Chili Chilis is goood. Cheap, fast and fresher than taco bell ever was. |

Panchos is on the main street in Itaewon, by Starbucks. Chili Chili is a few blocks away, near Noksapyeong Station. |

I like Pancho's margs, but I prefer Casa Maya's menu. Haven't been to Chili Chili's yet. I prefer Uno Chicago's nachos over the Mexican places, however. |

Pancho's sucks. Beaver's Wings nachos and tacos, however, rock. Availability, though, is subject to my whims. |

I ate enchilladas at Ponchos once.. and didn't care for it.. maybe because they seemed way overpriced for what you got.. just remember i didn't walk away with a favoreable impression.
However, Zyzyfer's birthday.. when he organized the HongDae restaurant/bar guy to make burritos and serve good beer.. is the best I've had in a long, long, long time. Damn that shit was good! |

Still do those semi-regularly, though the venue has changed. Once it warms up a bit, the beans will flow. |

I ate a Panchos the first week it opened and the food was not good at all. They told us the cook was on vacation (what, during opening week?) so we cut them some slack and returned later in the year. There wasn't much improvement. |

There's a decent Mexican eatery in Yeouido. I have no idea where it is or what the name is, so this post is 93.754% useless.
Apologies,
MTK
p.s. Poncho's SUKKS. I stumbled out of Hollywood bar at 1a.m. the other night and to my surprise, a TACO CART had materialized! I paid W2500 for a chicken soft taco. Can't tell you if it was any good or not. All nine of my senses were dulled well beyond the level of minimal functionality. However, I would recommend telling the proprietor to ease off on the dollup of (mayonnaise?) he enthusiastically squirted onto the otherwise semi-authentic, probably tasty-in-its-own-way Tex-Mex-ish treat. |

Ok
The restaurant near Yeouido is called "La Salsa Loca." Come out Exit 3 near Yeouido station. Turn right by the gas statiion/convenience store, go straight. You'll see something bank related ( I forget, it was last year) then turn right. It's a little pricey, but all fresh ingredients, no bulgogi burritos. Really delicious. Much better that that cheesy place in Apkujeong.
