Anyone out there in Daejeon have any places you could recommend to go out and have fun at? I fell asleep by accident earlier and slept all day so now I'll be up all night. What bars do you all go to?

I don't live in Daejeon, but I come down here once in a while... There's a few places around Eun-haeng Dong (by "Galleria" dept. store) that are alright. "J-Rock" seems to have quite a few foreigners in there, if that's who you're looking for... I'll be in "Watermelon Sugar" a bit later, which is more Korean, but they're usually really friendly, cool people.

Doubt you'll end up there (Watermelon) tonight, but if you are, say hi and we can slam some drinks together... I'll be the dude in the black Sublime sweater, and my friend is the tall-ish lady with bright yellow/orange-ish hair... Can't miss it!

Have a good one, mang.
(If you actually end up looking for Watermelon Sugar, just go to Galleria and ask Koreans where "Soltang-Subak" is... That should do it... It has an ugly-ass red and green sign over it)

Hey thanks! I've been to J-Rock and really liked it. I made it to the top of the stairs at Watermelon Sugar once haha. Just wondering if I was missing out on any places. Trying to decide between movies are going out and drinking. HAve fun Smile

Haha... Guess that means it wasn't your thing? It can be a great place under the right conditions- really! Anyways, there's also some place called "Santa Claus" (!) that sounds semi-popular with the foreigners these days, but I don't really know much else about it...

Really though, stop in Watermelon if you're in the area! A couple rounds of tequila shots are on me!

*leaves hotel, beckons taxi to head for Eunhaeng-dong*
