I love Korea for the fact snow RARELY falls in the Seoul area.

About 3 years ago there was a HUGE snow storm around the Seoul area...over a foot of snow in an afternoon. Well it pretty much killed traffic around the city.

My wife told me that it was a rare thing and a record snowfall in about 50yrs. Lucky me to be driving back then Sad

Took a taxi to Costco that Sunday. The roads and the store were practically deserted- great fun.

My guess is that Gangwon province (especially near Sorakson Mt.) will see the most snow. I went hiking at Sorakson a couple of winters back and it was covered with snow...really beautiful. My friends refuse to hike in Winter but I think it's the best....mountains covered in snow...what's not to love?

Fat flakes falling tonight by Soraksan, looking like it might amount to something. I fancy sitting in an outdoor hot spring tomorrow surrounded by white.

Well, as the Korean troll who went to The Joong Ang whatever paper insisted ad nauseum on Englishspectrum.com for oh so long, I was either cleaning the toilets at a MacDonald's or stacking the shelves at a Wall Mart.

go to Sapporo, Japan for the best regional skiing...or to just look at the snow....

go to an outside hotbath (nude, male and female together Very Happy ) and a bottle of saki and relax while the snow falls.....a great way to spend a day

or go to Colombia if you're looking for a different kinda snow Wink

Yeah, go to Gangwondo to see some snow. I hate the stuff.

Here's the downtown core of my city, Calgary. It's -17 and I'm glad I'm not there.
