| Real Reality I like your posts. They are by and large informative and they give everyone something to think about. There is nothing wrong with statistics. People can draw their own conclusions from the information given. Keep posting Real Reality. |

Someone above referred to RR's "shtick" -- that fairly sums it up -- he's "Stat-man."
Problem is, his "stats" mostly originate from the local english rags (questionable at best) & he repeats them ad nauseam, without comment, in situations where they have little or no relevance.
I generally skip over his posts. |

| I've found you less annoying than usual lately RR since I think you've posted a few positive stories (or it could be just the aerosols I'm sniffing). |

Real Reality has some excellent posts.
For the longest time I thought he was some kind of Google-powered posting bot. |

I'm wary of RR's posts. Perhaps he's getting better- it sounds like he is, according to some on this thread- but for the longest time he was the board's equivalent to Fox News: he'd only report articles that suited his agenda.
Well hey, that's fair enough, we all have our axes to grind, our pet peeves, our personal crusades... but when confronted about it (by Lemon, myself, and a few others) he denied having an agenda behind his posts.
I don't really follow his threads anymore, so maybe I'm being unfair by dredging up old arguments that are better left buried, but when I read the post here that said somebody stopped reading the newspaper because of RR's posts, well, that's kind of scary if you ask me.
As for threats in Private messages- notify the mods in a pm and let them take care of it- starting a thread on it is ridiculous and sounds more like "please validate me!" rally cry for help.
Sounds harsh? Well, you wanted feedback (or you wouldn't have started this thread) and this is mine. |

I don't think he should stop posting, either. But he has to be able to expect and accept whatever criticism he gets for his views, just like the rest of us. He's free to post his opinions. Shouldn't others be equally free to comment on them?
This habit he's getting into of crying to the crowd, "Well maybe I'll just take my ball and leave then because X is being mean to me" to drum up sympathy support has got to stop.
But let me reiterate, to cover myself from what I think will come: I don't think he should stop posting, either. |

This is absolutely hysterical ...
During your time as a MOD was so incredibily againsts any sort of comment, you made comment a bannable offence ...
I questioned you, which is a fundemental part of debate, and you had me suspended desipe the fact I never violoted the T.O.S. of this board.

I've used this forum here for a couple of years now...
RR's post never bothered me and I could never understand why people got so upset over his posts - if you don't like, don't open and read.
what a flakey PM to have sent to you though. |

Truly, why should RRs posts ever bother anyone? Don't they just refer to stuff in newpapers?
Newspaper stuff can bother you, OK, but why shoot the messenger? |

I disagree. Like Fox News, he presents information that he feels people will find relevant, and he tries to be as objective as possible. |
