I have been offered a contract with Wonderland Pusan and am hoping someone can tell me if it's a decent place to work for or not.

Run a Yahoo search for "Wonderland Korea" and read what you find. That ought to answer your questions.

Why don't you just tell the OP to go to http://www.prisoneratwonderland.com or whatever it is.

Yes, Wonderland has a bad reputation, but not all fo the schools are as bad as the ones written about. Some are good, some are very good, and yes...some are bad.

To the OP: write the current teachers there and find out from them. All you're going to find on here is the bad stuff. No chain is inherently evil (except Wal-Mart). Each will have good locations and bad. Maybe Pusan is a good one.

Again....it is not the schools that are bad...it is the school owner(s). Schools change names often in korea also.
The best thing to do is talk with the current teachers and read between the lines. If you are in korea...it's easier to just visit the school. Only one chance at a first impression.
But...as many have found out...even talking to the current teachers does not often prove it's a good place to work.
It all comes down to this: thick skin, how well you can adapt and let BS roll off. You need to have a good personality and be able to adapt to fit in. If you don't click with co-workers...your sentence...er....time spent at the hakwon will be awful until you are paroled. Same with clicking with the owner...if you and the warden get along...great! If not....you have a 12 month sentence unless you escape.
