I just got an external Sony DVD burner and I must say that it is great! I didn't want to mess around getting an internal one and so I opted for an external one and I have no regrets. I just downloaded the brand-new game "Mercenaries" and burned it (ok I messed up 2 disks before I figured out exactly how to do it) and it worked just like the Yongsan games that I have bought all along. It is definitely going to save me money and the only regret I have is that I didn't buy it earlier!

I also am really enjoying the one I just got. Burned a load of DVDs and games already.

Just out of curiosity, how did you screw up the games when you burned them the first few times. I won't be getting the Xbox until perhaps next week, but I already burned a buncg of games to clear up space from the hard drive.

Well a couple of things I messed up. First after running out of the Sony dvd+r's that came with it I went out and bought some Samsung dvd-r's and didn't notice the difference in that + versus - Because of that I think a couple of disks screwed up. Also when using winrar once it unpacked it I was left with ANOTHER winrar file (or so I thought but it was actually an ISO image) so I unpacked that TOO which was a mistake.

Anyway I've burned about 14 games so far and had about 4 not work so all in all I'm pretty happy. Those samsung ones are fine and cost 5 500 won for 5 at Homeplus. When I get back to Yongsan again I'll buy a bunch of other ones but for now I'm content. By the way get "Mercenaries" as it's a kick ass game! Especially since it takes place in North Korea!

I would like to try Ninja Gaiden but unfortunately it's an X box exclusive game.

My external Sony burner was as cheap as 235 000 cash at Yongsan, but I chose to get it through home shopping for 250 000 won I think with 10 Sony DVD r's included.
Games I now have:
1) The Getaway
2) Prince Of Persia 2
3) Hot Shots Golf 4
4) DOA Hardcore
5) Ominusha
6) Metal Gear Solid 3
7) Tenchu 3 (forget the title, but the latest one)
Cool Mercenaries
9) Nba Live 2005
10) Fight Night 2004
11) Smackdown vs. Raw
12) Mortal Kombat Deception

A couple of others that slip my mind now. All in all I'm a happy man.

Sorry about that. Was a little cranky earlier. I see your point....piracy is bad. I don't condone it.

You should listen to the song "Been caught stealing" by Jane's Addiction.
