Where can I get the sheet music for Aerosmith's Amazing? Does anyone have it? Can I get it in Seoul? Can I get it free online?

Why dont you just figure it out for yourself? Not being an arse here but you learn a lot more that way.

If it is too quick then just buy-steal a program that lets you slow the song down without changing the pitch. I use the creative software that that came with my soundcard and it slows down the tune, but keeps the pitch it is pretty cool.

As a music grad perhaps it is easier for me, but I'd say it is very worthwhile to do it yourself for the experience you'll get from it.

I did look online for a bit and could find nothing. Get some cool sofware, slow the tune down a bit and DIY. If you cant I'll do it for 20k won and write it up all nice for you.... Bargain!.

Good luck...

Don't know about online, but there is a neat little shop in Myeong-dong that sells all the music you can imagine. Don't know about aerosmith though.. how old is the song?

If it is recent then I doubt they will have it - or free online.

Are you saying to figure out where to find it in Korea? I don't care about working with the music. It is for a friend.

No, it is not free online. It is still copywrited.

I *was* going to ask "Why would you possibly want that song" and launch into an Aerosmith-is-overrated-and-when-will-they-just-go-away tirade, but since you said it's for a friend, I'll play nice Wink

Harmony Central is your answer. Free AMATEUR tabs - figured out by guitar jocks and posted online - which means that there are no copyright protection issues.

http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/tab.html

Bear in mind that because they're amateur tabs, there are often errors or inconsistencies, wrong lyrics, transposed into different keys, whatnall. But, they're usually good enough for Rock n' Roll.

Transcribe it. Figure out to play it yourself! Not that helpful I suppose but I'm not that weird!

I see sheet music at the local stores that sell instruments. Also, I think Kyobo may have some. Finding Aerosmith's "Amazing" would be hard, though.

Here are other options:

- Go on Kazaa and look for "Amazing" in documents. There is sheet music on the Kazaa network.

- A little more complicated -- Find "Amazing" in MIDI form (it's everywhere). Then import it into a program like Cakewalk, where it will churn it back out as sheet music.

- Fake music and chord progression charts are all over the internet.

I used to be good at figuring out chord progressions by ear, especially since most pop music follows the same formulae. I'm running the song in my head... here's a guess:

Am - G - C - F

I don't have a guitar or keyboard to test it, though.

Don't buy anything music-related in Korea--it costs a shitload! When I was there in July, I saw a Mexican Strat (a MEXICAN Strat for *beep*'s sake!) for like 600000 won!!!! Outrageous. Evil or Very Mad
