Sorry to burst your bubble, but Cosco is a not a very convenient place to get to by most people. Also, these are big boxes (12 oz 340 grams). Hate to rub it in, but this kind tastes better than Kraft because it's not a powder mix. The cheese is thick! Finally, meet me on the playground after school at 3:00 chump. |
Are you talking about the "velveeta shells"??? Walmart has them?..

No, it's basically identical to Kraft Dinner. It says on the box: Noodles by Leonard, Macaroni and Cheddar, Original Dinner. |

I've seen some Korean pizza pops, but I can't remember if it was at Emart or Cosco. |

My feeling is KD should be eaten straight: noodles, the cheese goop prepared with milk/butter. It ends there. Eat it and get on with your life. People who add hot dogs or tuna or corn to it... that's just saying "I want to be a bachelor all my life." |

(First of all, KD = Kraft Dinner = Macaroni & Cheese....right?) I don't doubt you're a better authority on this subject than I am, (coming from the ramen king here, that's not a put-down) but my image of the confirmed North American bachelor is straight KD -- no frills, no pretentions, minimal time expediture. It's when the other items, like those you've mentioned I suppose, are added that I envision the Rosanne Barr-type North American mother trying to stretch KD into a meal for the family. |

No sir, the bachelor for life believes adding hot dogs to KD (ie mac and cheese) constitutes a form of cooking. |

I know what Shawner's talking about, and Peemil's right, Ulsan Walmart stopped stocking it (or someone, some whitey, desperate for comfort food, buys it all and will be buried in a piano case).
Mmm, Costco. I'd go for the 'dust kind'. The cheese powder 12 pack. Like Shawner, I'll eat half the 340 gram box 'before I feel full'. Full like a gobbling glutton, that is. |
