You will be making 40,000+ won per hour teaching privates. Chances are slim you get caught. Not that I condone such behaviour... risk vs. reward. |

| Stuff can happen that's totally out of your control though. I know a friend was teaching privates, and the idiot student called her regular employer to cancel the class. She didn't get turned into immigration, but that really soured the working relationship. |

Most Koreans I've talked to have no idea at all that private teaching is illegal for foreigners, nor do they have a clue about the risks you are taking, and that makes it hard to impress upon them that the whole thing has to be kept secret. |
