I am looking for a good ski shop in the Seoul vicinity.
I need full ski equipment, ski's, boot, poles.
I have heard about Dongdaemun, but I wonder if there are others since that area is so hecktic.

if you don't mind last season's gear, i would recommend the shop where i bought my showboard. it's called a & a, and it's nearest to sinsa station.
they have boot/ski/binding/pole sets (mid-range gear, i'd say; not too fancy but certainly not shabby) for about 200,000 won. they also have a really nice selection of this year's models, but you'd pay a lot more than you would in the states (where i'm from).
pm me if you want more specific directions or information. |

I think there's a place next to Hapjeong station on the green line. No idea what it's like outside, but it's certainly not a busy part of town. Near the Marie Rose Wedding Hall. |

Thanks Swiss James,
I went ahead and bought new equipment. I ended up getting some great Atomic Arc skies with Atomic bindings. The skies came with plates already mounted and I got some nice HEAD ski boots. I got some good advice from you.
Although it is all old, it is not used. I am very happy with this purchase, sine I was able to get the right boot at the right fit.
merci!! |
