YAY~ same rules were played in my local high school as what chronicpride posted. I too had the same frustrations when playing with friends from BC who had the whole round-the-table-once rule Mad

We made it more fun when playing on our afternoon "spare" in highschool (perhaps known as "study hall" in some schools, mine was too much of a lower-class drop-out school to even ATTEMPT suggesting students study...). Anyway, we used 1 deck of cards for about every 2 people playing. So when 8 of us sat around one of the big cafeteria tables, we would deal out 3 or 4 decks of cards. It meant that instead of being able to drop doubles and win a round, you were digging through your fistful for 10 sevens to beat the last person's 10 sixes.

With that many cards floating around, we also started each hand with 60 seconds of free-trading ("I'll give you 6 sevens for your 5 fours...").

Ahhh to be 16 again Cool

A bunch of us foreigners used to play A$$hole every Friday night when I was in Gunsan. It was a great way to end a week, talk about our common frustrations at school and just have a good time. It's such a great game because you can always have more people (as long as you have enough cards) and it's quick to learn. I've been looking to do something the same here in Jeonju so if anyone in the area is interested PM me.
