I have heard that Cinecore, just off Jongno shows first run Korean movies with English subtitles. Otherwise, get a DVD player and wait for your favorite movies to come out on DVD, legally or otherwise. It's usually about 2 months before you can find popular Korean movies available on DVD in your friendly neighborhood subway station.

I saw "Taegugki" with English subtitles at COEX. But that may be because Jackie Chan was the guest of honor at the showing.
