alot of them were athletes at university. I know a taekwondo instructor who was always getting asked to bounce. then you have punks at clubs like NB who carry those retractable metal batons. Twisted Evil

yeah we all know Bouncers are tough as nails! they wouldnt be there if they werent tough.. I mean Im from NEW ZEALAND and if anyone of you guys has seen. Once were warriors.. then you would know some parts of the country has some HARD people and they drink.. so the bouncers in those clubs need to be REAL HARD! and they are.. I have seen some EPIC bouncer fights in my time!
but the thing is.. where do you draw the line?
how much can they get away with?
I mean if someone hits you on the street you tell the cops and that person is charged with assult or/ and can be paying your medecal and FINES.. but what happens in a club?
a bouncer wastes you and you are laying there smashed up..
legally what happens?
NOTHING???
if its nohting.. then no wonder bouncers hit first then dont ask questions later. just leave you on the gutter with boot marks on your face..

I mean only idiots would try to take on bouncers.. UNLESS your mates can number the bouncers and you are all hard too..
becuase just like GI'S they will all fight together onto one..

I once saw a fight at one of the biggest clubs in wellington I knew the toughest bouncer there becuase I use to be a card dealer at after hour chinese poker clubs and he use to play there.. lucky for me I delt him those kings he was after and he always remembered me hahahahah
anyway this guy was the strongest MAORI guy I have ever seen and with a heart of gold as most of them do..
anyway one night I was talking to him as I usually do.. and these 6 or 7 gang related guys BLAck power or mongrel mob ( if you are from NZ you know what I mean ) anyway gang..
and one big mother fucker came up to him kinda nicely and gave some words.. and he said to me.. excuse me ,, and walked outside..
the other bouncers came out to support him.. and the other guys mates were there, and some words were exchanged and an agreement was made that know one would jump in..
and off they went.. EVEN today I think about what I saw.. as a 18 year old guy seeing those two HUGE men fighting like it was K1 right in front of me was barbaric...
good thing is that he won... then those other gang members just respectfully pick up there mate and walked off..

yeah seen alot of bar fight as a bartender.. and must say its stupid!!
some people are just so insecure they need to fight..
when ever I see bouncers smashing some guy dragging him outside IM like - man why did you get yourself to this level!
of course sometimes bouncers go way to far.. but 98% of the time bouncers are not smashing you for nothing!

but still.. ever seen the movie road house?
boucers dont do that.. and sometimes they go just to far.. no need to stomp on his head once he is outside and down.. no need for the last boot!
no need to have 5 bouncers all getting in a hit becuase they guy is trying to fight back ffrom being killed..
so where does it stop?
legally, what can be done?
can they charge assult charges?
in korea its illegal to fight . A cop even told me this..
so whats with the bouncers?

Thats how they get the top jobs at the best clubs with the most money!

Yeah, the most money. At M2/Hodgepodge they get W10,000 per hour from 10 pm to 6 am. They are bored, so they get into fights. And yes, it's alwayus against white guys. Some of them deserve it, some don't.

One night in Melbourne these guys cut in on my mate's turn at the pool table - even used his dollar off the table! When my mate confronted them they just dared him to do something about it. So I stepped in and dared them to try and play his dollar. They got the big Moari bouncer (whom I later realised they must have known) on their side.

We stood down, but one of the guys gave me a dirty look every time he saw me at the bar. I just responded with my best condescending smile each time, which clearly started to get to him towards the end of the night. When the bar was closing and I got my last drink, he gave me one last sideways glare; I replied with my arrogant grin and I guess he figured he'd had enough of my smart-arse attitude. He shirt-fronted me, wanting to step outside. I was happy to oblige, but the Moari bouncer grabbed me, was holding me inside, until the guy indicated that it was alright. A bunch, including the bouncer, proceeded to follow us out and watched me punch the crap out of this guy. At one point the guy said "okay, you win", but I don't fight for sport, and intended to make sure he didn't want to repeat the event. So I continued to punch the crap out of him. Shortly after the bouncer picked me up, threw me across the footpath with the greatest of ease, and proceeded to kick the living faeces out of me. Being well-lubricated, I was out cold the second I hit the pavement, but was told that my mates had to drag me out to stop the bouncer from kicking me to dust.

We reported this to the cops, and they said the bouncer was way out of line - that it wasn't his job to 'maintain order' outside the bar. But when I attempted to press charges the cops screwed me around endlessly - claimed the (bouncer) number I had given them was wrong; then that that bouncer hadn't been working there that night; then that that bouncer wasn't in Melbourne and couldn't be contacted. I realised they were just gonna screw me around til death, and my heart wasn't really in seeking 'justice' anyway, so I gave up.

Another time my mate and I tried to get in a bar, the bouncers wouldn't let us in. My friend had the audacity to ask 'why' and one of the bouncers (the smallest one) smacked him a beauty. My friend then had the audacity to spit blood on the footpath, so the bouncer smacked him another one. I was pretty annoyed but ain't stupid enough to take on bouncers, so we walked down to the cop shop and reported it. The cops said they would check the security cameras - come back tomorrow. We did and the cops said that my mate had tripped over... they obviously never even checked the tapes - sadly, like myself, my mate wasn't very interested in pushing it.

Though they'll 'act' otherwise, it's in the cops' interest to always back the bouncers: it means less paperwork (pressing charges), and the bouncers do save them from having to clean up the drunks all weekend.

Still. When I see a bouncer I immediately assume he's an arsehole. Sub-human monkeys itchin' for a fight, the majority; and I'll stand by my prejudice.

I feel the same about cops in General. Where I come from, the cops are of the same mindset as the bouncers only they have pepperspray and little bats to beat you with.

Yeah, the cops in Melbourne don't seem to be too bad... just disinterested. But in small towns, like where I grew up, they are meaner than any snake (or bouncer) you ever met.

I was jumped in limelights about 3 weeks ago by the bouncers there. I have witnesses who to back me up that i did absolutley nothing wrong...i have never started anything in that club and when the big black dude was working there we were pretty friendly...we would play pool and chat and stuff...now he's gone and the new bouncers are all a little suspect if you ask me...anyways...one of them came up to me from behind as i was standing at the bar...and put me in a choke hold....he was kinda small so i thought *beep* it and reversed it on him...thats when the shit hit the fan with four of them coming up to me...2 on my arms and one choking me out... i couldn't breathe and had to tap out. Once they had me outside they were keen to carry on with it but at 4versus1 i wisely decided against it and just left. honestly and i have witnesses to back it up...i did nothing wrong...i was in there on the weekend and a fight with a gyopo guy and the bouncers broke out...it was right where i was standing and i kinda jumped in and helped out a to break it up. Anyways the gyopo dude went to the police as he said the bouncers put his mate in hospital and he wa asking e to sign something to press charges...i told him i wouldn't do it...whats the point in this country?...bouncers are bouncers and will be pricks just for the sake of it.
