Mine is small, about 25 treadmills but only 2 bikes, and 2 stairmasters. They're not that new, but certainly good enough. Decent free weights but the nautilus machines are really lacking - they only have 4 or 5 (and none of the ones I like to use.... Sad )

Free yoga classes 5x a week and free lockers/workout clothes, and towels.

90,000 a month if you pay monthly.
60,000 a month if you pay upfront for 3 months
45,000 a month if you pay upfront for 6 months
30,000 a month if you pay upfront for 12 months.

On top of that there is a 2-for-1 deal for any memberships 6 months or longer. So if you and a mate go in together and sign up for 6 months, it's only 22,500 a month; for a year, 15,000 a month.

In Ansan myself and three of my coworkers had memberships at a gym in one of the more expensive hotels (sorry can't remember which one) and we got the foreigners rate of 50,000/month, including gym wear and towels. It's a pretty good gym, including a sauna. It was really convenient for us cause it was one our way home from work.

Are ergos/Concept IIs common in Korean Gyms?

I miss being on the water.

There's a gym next to my officetel but it costs something like 120k if you want to swim, gym and do weights. That's more than my gym in London cost!

On Monday I signed up at a gym here in Seocho-gu. It's W55000 a month.

They've got a clean changing room and free workout clothes and towels. The shower room is clean, and there's a non-bubbly hot tub and small sauna as well.

The gym itself seems pretty decent to me. Keep in mind, however, that I've never used a gym before in my entire life. It has treadmills, recumbent-style bikes, free weights, and lots of machines I haven't figured out how to use yet. My only complaint is that there aren't any stair-climbing machines, but whatever.

It's fun. I've been focusing on cardio stuff, and it's doing wonders for my mood and energy level at work. Hopefully my beer gut will disappear in the coming months too...

20,000 a month. It's part of our apartment complex. Not a bad deal. Just got back from there.

Found a gym in the basement of my office. Loads of free weights, a couple of machines and a bank of running machines. Nice.

I've got so weak though in the months I've been travelling Sad Still, vertical sit-ups are fun.

$780 for two people for 14 months.....in seattle.

it is a tiny gym, but i don't need a fancy gym. all i need is a simple treadmill and weights. all exercise classes are included; abs, yogas, etc. it's a pretty good deal.

my boy and i both work at school; it means the school gym is free, but i frankly don't want to drive somewhere just to exercise.

this little gym is only three blocks away from our house; perfect. Very Happy

I pay 330,000 for six months and that includes good equipment (heavy free weights) and a knowledgeable, helpful trainer. The gym's less than a year old, I think.

This, by the way, is out in Anyang.

Does anyone go to a gym in Itaewon or Yeoido? I'm looking for a place with an elliptical machine, not too expensive, open late at night.
