What is this city like? (In comparison to Seoul or Suwon) One of my Korean friends told me it was kind of dangerous, and there have been several murders there, does any one have any more info about that? Is there much to do there?

Korea is a remarkably safe country. The murders could very likely have just been jilted lovers and marital disputes. The most dangerous things over here usually have something to do with traffic.
