I'm just wondering what people did this weekend so that
I can compare my miserable, worthless, self-centred
existance with yours.

My weekend:

I came into Sinchon from Inchon and met my friends at
Woodstock where we drank and played Blackjack. I lost
10,000. My wife then came charging into the bar with a
rolling pin and escorted me to the last bus back to wonderful
Inchon.

Yesterday I went to the gym, had a nap, went for a long walk and am in the process of cleaning up my apartment/surfing the web. This morning went to sauna and will go for another walk and perhaps finish cleaning my apartment.

I got royally smashed on Friday night in Shinchon. Spent all day Saturday eating pizza and watching movies. (Butterfly Effect, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I, Robot) Today I have to go to Itaewon to buy a couple phone cards. Nothing exciting.

Absolutely and completely nothing.

Don't have to go to work on Monday, or the rest of the week for that matter.

Its been a long long time since I just sat on my ass all weekend and just chilled.

Feels good.

Grrrr... I worked all day Saturday. Not just a few hours, but the whole damn day. Gotta get in those magic 20 days a month to make up for the Lunar New Year holiday. Evil or Very Mad

My weekend, such as it is, is just getting started.

Studied yesterday, went back 'home' early and packed my stuff. Woke up early today, moved to my new place, and now I'm off to Gangnam to study. I work Monday and Friday next week so I'm feeling pretty good.

You know what's nice? Using the computer while sitting in a chair as opposed to using it on one's bed like I was doing before. Mad Bad for the back.

I have been on vacation for three months. Laughing

Friday afternoon I went up to Insadong and checked the place out (fine for first time tourists but a little boring for a lifer like me), then in the evening I tried the Egyptian restaurant in Itaewon I heard about. Not bad. Saturday morning I pigged out at the breakfast buffet at the Renaissance Hotel at Solleung Station, then walked from there down to Gangnam and did some homework at Starbucks. Met a language exchange friend in the evening, but it was an early evening.

This morning I did laundry. Dreading going back to work in 4 more weeks. ** yawn ** Laughing

I bought this locomotive and ran it for a few hours on Saturday, took the dogs to the park and played ball for an hour, followed by an unintended 2 hour hike on south mountian. I lost a doobie somewhere on the trail and had to soak for an hour in the tub to relax my knee muscles. Met a British girl who used to teach in Korea and Japan.. (she struck up the conversation when she saw the doggles) that was fun. Sunday I slept till 3pm and watched tv and the superbowl.

had a yummy dinner at Chakraa indian restaurant last night very yummy and filling and going to see soccer Korea vs Kuwait which should be fun never been to a soccer game before ....................
