What about my idea? I think it would work. I don't think that you are required to show them your alien card if you just say that you are going on vacation. After all, why would you travel with your Korean alien card? Make up a date of return not too far in the future. They will put a stamp in your passport for W30,000 and off you go. Do you still have time remaining on your Korean E-2? I guess if you don't that could create problems. |

How well will that excuse fly if they see my Hong Kong visa in my passport? That's the only thing giving me pause. |

They don't pour over the passport with a fine-toothed comb. Besides, everyone needs some sort of visa to land in HK, don't they? I could be wrong, never been there. |

Maybe for Canada you do need a visa, but not for America. Meh. Ahhhh I'll see what happens tomorrow. |
