Korean bosses don't actually know anything about business operations, but they like to think of ways to make their slaves' lives miserable and waste time for no good reason whatsoever. Ignore them.
I thought my boss was ok until he subjected the Korean staff to a temper tantrum. I don't think they know how to be any different. Little spoilt obnoxious mama's boys all of them. |

My First B*tchBoss was all nice and sweet and friendly, too. Then like all dairy products, she turned.
I couldn't leave the school during my free hour, EVEN FOR LUNCH. I had to order out.
I couldn't leave the school if my last class was early.
I couldn't read a book at my desk.
I couldn't discipline the kids.
I couldn't yell, even if it was to be heard.
I couldn't have a free talking day for the older advanced students.
I couldn't use my vacation days whenever I wanted.
I was to tell her IN ADVANCE when I was going to be sick.
She also wanted to know when I was leaving town. Where. With whom. When. How long.
Needless to say, I left that horrible c*nt and her hellspawn. Everytime I saw that kid, I wanted to dropkick him off the 63 Building. I heard from my replacement that she's gotten even worse. She wanted a student to live with him. He was in high school so she didn't see the problem. He told her no, then she said what about the weekend. Again he said no and she got all pissy. She's bloody insane. |

Oh definitely. Her Korean name is Kim Ok-sun. Her English name is Christine. The school is World Prep School in Ocheon. It's a shithole village outside of Pohell.

Our boss makes a point of not shitting on the KTs in front of us - for some reason he thinks it's really important that all the foreign teachers don't see him losing it. I don't know when or how he learnt not to do this, but am I ever glad he did. |
