Valentines Day is coming up. I want to buy my girlfriend some user-friendly (padded?) handcuffs and maybe some massage oils or something like that. Can someone tell me where exactly to buy such kinky toys? I hope those kind of gifts can be bought without having to wander around in some sleazy neighborhood.

Does anyone have any alternative and original valentines gift suggestions?
What are you getting her for Valentines Day?

Actually Valentine's Day in Korea is supposedly the day where girls give gifts to guys... our turn comes on White Day, March 14th, so in theory you've still got a month left to track them down Wink (I don't know if your girlfriend is Korean or not... if she is then you're doing the Korean 'thing' by letting her buy a gift this time round; if not, then you can always claim "when in Rome..." Wink )

There are a couple of costume shops near the Itaewon mosque that might have what you're looking for though.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am aware of the Korean way of doing Valentine's. However, my girlfriend and I already agreed to do something for Valentine's Day this Monday. We also agreed to not do any serious gifts this year because we went overboard on the gifts for Christmas and our recent anniversary. But you know how it goes....she will be pissed when I don't give her anything and I hate to be corny with just a rose, card and candy. So anyone who can give me some answers before this Monday?

Noticed a "toy"store near the Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon, might be worth checking there, unless that counts as a sleazy neighborhood?

Sorry, I am not that familiar with Itaewon. Could you give me some directions from the subway station? I would like to check the place out. Thanks for your suggestion.

There's a place at the Sinchon stop on line 2. It's on the top floor of the building with the "Twosome Place" coffee shop. Just look for the neon condom signs in the windows.

I've never been in there, so forgive me if the directions aren't fabulous.

I think it's around a ten minute walk or so from Itaewon station. When yiu come out of the station you'll see a Burger King. Walk past the Burger King, and the gas station till you're out of the main bar area. The store is on the second floor and has a neon sign that says "love love"

Hope this helps. if all else fails, some nice scarves can be put to the same use, and won't raise eyebrows if they're discovered.

ROK Marine Corps surplus and supply stores opposite Space 9 at Yongsan Stn. Probably more stores like that at the East Bus Terminal and a few other major bus or train stations. You can get her outfitted for the coming race war there, as well.

By the way, you're a lucky little punk. What I wouldn't give to tie someone up again...Oops, gotta run.
