Man booked for being too loud at Daegu rally
A Daegu subway union member identified only by his family name Jeon hit an 85 dB noise level through a loudspeaker during the demonstration, police said at the weekend. He is the first person to be arrested since the law on assembly and demonstration was tightened last year to provide for punishment of anyone who creates a noise level of more than 80 dB during daytime hours and 75 dB at night.

Good.

I used to visit a friend at KT in Bundang when the Union was protesting there last year. Not only did they make noise outside, they blared stereos INSIDE as people walked in and came to work.

I was amazed that such a thing was allowed in the building.

Sheer comedy genius gentlemen. Smile

On the other hand, I'd love to take a baseball bat to some of those produce truck salesman. Well them and the loudspeakers for waking me up in the morning. *Ugh* Noise polution on par with Korean boy bands...

i did just that the other day. tried to rip the speaker cord off the speaker at 8:30 am on a holiday morning.

when that didn't work i started grabbing apples out of the back and heaving them at the truck's cab.

(this is of course after asking them 3 times politely and then one more time rather forcefully and less politely to be quiet).
