|
|
I use both mozilla firefox browser 1.0 and IE. Looked at a few acquaintances cyworld pages. Does cyworld somehow disable a browser from right clicking a pic and saving it? With Mozilla, the right click and save is fully disabled. With IE, I noticed that the 'thumbs' of pics are fine, but the larger pic file won't load up, once again appearing cyworld may(?) have disrupted it? Anyways never before seen right click disabled on pics.
Anyone know how to get around it and save a pic anyways? |

I guess you're not talking about saving album pictures because a save/print option is offered for those...
Otherwise, IrfanView can screen capture pictures. It's free at downloads.com. |

Some of the sites blocked them when I was running Windows 98, however I noticed that when running XP, if I hold my cursor over the photo, a box pops up that allows me to save the pic.
Another trick in 98 was to go up to "File" and Save Webpage or something like that. It saves the whole page in a folder, and you can then go get the photo. |

Dead easy solutions:
a) the photo is downloaded already in your browser cache. Check there.
b) simply press the Print Screen button on you keyboard. That captures everyone on your monitor to the clipboard and then you can paste it into a paint program and then crop out the photo you want. |

I find the "Prt Scr" button does not work unless you hold down "Crtl" as well. This captures your screen to your clipboard. |

Kabaam. Great job superhero. the above is the only advice that worked for what I'm looking for. Now they are right clickable again. Thx..... (the other options are ok but they only do a screen capture).. Thanx all. |

It depends entirely on the keyboard. I have a laptop where I have to hold down a special Function key to enable Print Screen.
One thing print sreen will not do though is capture stills from video which is a shame. |

And not only that but you can drag text too. The only thing with text is that you have to drag it into some form of text editor like Word. Just highlight and drag. |
