Good questions.

1) How long have you been here?
5 years but with a 1.5 year break in the middle.

2) How much longer do you plan on being here?
Indefinitely. Will look at more lucrative options in Saudi or back home after finishing my MA.

3) Where do you work? (uni/hagwon etc. or if unemployed, details)
Hagwon, soon to be uni.

4) Are you married to or in a serious relationship with a Korean?
Long term relationship.

5) Do you have children here?
No. Probably won't have children. By the time I get financially secure enough my partner may be menopausal!

6) How much Korean do you speak (self-assessment here, modest best guess)
High beginner/low intermediate. I understand a fair bit but sweat and struggle over conversation, rather like some Korean students speaking English. These days I can feel my Korean getting worse through lack of practice.

7) How often do you consume alcoholic beverages?
Almost never.

8 What's your ratio of Korean friends/associates to foreigners?
I'm pretty solitary these days but the ratio is about 40:60 for the people I know.

7. How often do you consume alcoholic beverages? not often weekdays, a few beers (quite a few I suppose) weekends

#3: Today was my last day at my high school! Will start at an adult hagwon.

#4: In a serious one for almost two years....he must be some saint-in-the-flesh for putting up with me for so long!

#5: Na...my maternal instincts haven't kicked in yet.

#6: Enough to embarass myself with other Koreans

#7: Once every few weeks...I'm just not 19 anymore

#8: Hmmm probably about 30/70 Korean/foreign...I used to work with mostly ajeoshis...not real keen with hanging out with them...want to make more Korean friends though.
