In case you are curious what an ARC (Alien Registration Card) looks like with a 2nd teaching location approved on the back, I am including it here. If you don't have this approval on your card, and your boss asks you to work at another location -- it's ILLEGAL! No ifs, ands, or buts... no matter what he/she tells you. Immigration prints a line naming the place you are working, approved work dates, and what type of job it is.
Also, you'll note in the bottom left, a new date is added to your existing ARC if you renew with your school. This is all done at immigration, and you aren't required to leave Korea if you are renewing another contract with the same school (as long as you renew before your initial E-2 expires!)
Oh, and just for fun, I've added what the front of the ARC looks like for those newbees who need one. The photo is yours. Obviously I have blocked out the Alien number, Name, Country, and Address in Korea. I thought it lists your "approved teaching location" but it doesn't. Your approved working date is listed under the photo. You have to leave Korea or extend your visa by that ending date.

That second pic would be really popular on the naver.com boards, I bet... You should try and put it up there!
On second thought, maybe not... Headlines would be screaming that in addition to teaching illegally and demoralizing womenfolk, we're now into forging gov't documents as well! |

There is one but.
If your school registers you with the Department of Education then you can work at more than one place without that amendment on the back. However, this can be costly(or so I've been told) so doesn't happen often. |
