We all got the same thing, the gift box contained 2 bottles of olive oil 4 cans of tuna and 3 cans of spam.
The olive oil is great and so is the tuna. Now the spam is also great cut in thin slices and fried (not) I give away the spam. |

I have never gotten any gifts from my school...maybe they hate me.
I also gave them gifts from home when I arrived, they didn't even seem to care or want them.

Isn't it Korean tradition that you have to give a gift back of greater value? So maybe all these gifts you are getting are in fact cries from the people for gifts they in fact need/ want. So you need to return 7 kgs of white sugar and 7kgs of brown sugar. All those underwear people are getting need to have the gesture returned in kind. Spam, now who wouldn't want spam?? Embrace Korean culture and get them spam back, with interest!
I like the idea, if I need a large pot I give a small pot, if I need socks I give socks... |
