I recently signed and sent off a contract. Days ago, I came across a resume online that listed the school I had just signed with. I emailed the person whose resume it was, inquiring about the school. I recieved an immediate reply.

In short, she said she worked one year problem free, a good experience to say the least. Then in year two, she was asked by the school to recruit her friends as teachers. After bringing in her friends, four I beleive, things at the school began to take a different turn. It also mentioned that the school also became involved with a new part owner who also seemed to rock the boat. In the end, it was said that the school fired two teachers wrongfully, and the remaining all resigned in month five.

I don't know what to make of it all, especially when I'm just weeks away from leaving. What would you do? What are my options? Before getting this information, I was excited and looking forward to a Korean adventure. What's to make of it now? Any help is appreciated.

sounds weird that they left at month 5. If they had stayed to month 6, they wouldn't have had to pay back airfare.

Maybe they were pushed out or fired.

dulouz... do you have any specific places for me to look into? Or were you just being facetious. At this point, I'm not ruling out the possibility of going somewhere else.

the eye... I did speak with one. He said they have been good to him, said he taught in Malaysia and thought he really lucked out in finding the school in SK.

Derrek... I could be mistaken on that, it might have been sooner.
