I have known several teachers who have gotten the stamp on the E2 to work at public schools without any problems.

Stay legal.

Becuase you're with Public schools, not hagwons. If you're coming from a hagwon, it's almost impossible unless the boss owns two locations.

Just tried to get approval to work at Pagoda in addition to my Private high school.

No dice. Not approved.

Hmmm. When I was in Taebaek my co-worker working in a hogwan got permission to work at a local middle school in addition to the hogwan.

It could be that they are really cutting back due to the recent hulabaloo.

Sometimes I wonder how much of it depends on the person you talk to.

Or how much you pay in bribe money.

Would it happen to be Bongseo Middle School? Back in the day when I didn't know any better, I was farmed out to them illegally for a while. If that is the school you're being farmed to, try to make it legalized and send me a private message and I'll mention a few faces there to make it comfortable (as well as who to be careful with), since I effectively worked there for 18 months.

And when I was working in Cheonan at the same job that farmed me out to that school, they also had me working at a Women's Education Center for two semesters...was a great job, actually, though there was no extra pay. Awesome students. They made it legal, too. It is possible to have two jobs, but I think that you pretty much have to look like you're getting SFA money out of the deal.

Naw, that was the first thing I asked, since I remember you told me you worked there, "Is it Bonseo?" It's an all girls middle school, "Seo" middle school, or something like that. She wasn't clear on the location, but it's around Cheonan High School. It's their first time taking in a foreigner.

She told me today that she has filled out the applications and such and altering the visa. I still remain skeptical, but it should be all right. I should be getting around 500,000 in overtime for the month.
