I have recently been offered a job in Cheong Ju. The contract seems fine etc, but I want some specific info on transportation links between Cheong Ju and Daejon. I know it's a 40 minute bus journey but does anyone know the frequency of the buses, to where in Daejon they go, and until what time they run? Any help is very much appreciated.

While I don't know exact schedules, there are TONS of buses that leave from different parts of the city at different time..

I know by Sachang-Sagori there was atleast one an hour throughout most of the day... (Bus stop was by the Dominos by the movie theatre)

It's a very popular route since loads of people from Cheongju work in Daejon..

You won't have much of a problem finding one.

I live in Cheongju and go to Daejeon quite frequently. (my last contract was in Dunsan Dong). The bus I take leaves Nambu Terminal in Bun Pyung Dong (pretty sure that is right), and get's into Dongbu Terminal in Daejeon about 35 minutes later. From what I can tell, it runs about every 30-45 minutes or so. The same bus starts at the Dream Plus Terminal, passes Nambu, and then off to Daejeon. About a 35 minute bus ride, and 2,500Won from Nambu Terminal.

Not too sure how late they run out of Cheongju, but, I have taken them out as late as 9:30-10:00 i think. But, heading back from Dongbu, almost positive the last bus is out before 9:30.
