I wasn't saying that these were the only girls being called Russian, just that this leads me to believe Koreans use the word Russian for more than a nationality.

Anyway, nice to be remembered Smile and who knows...maybe I'm still a nice guy. Though I doubt this thread is going to be the place to show it. Twisted Evil

I'm sure you're still a nice guy. Wink

I just noticed this thread so maybe others have pointed out...

In my experience, the vast majority of Koreans can't identify any western nationality. They also can't identify ages or even hair colouring or other western features.

I taught at a camp - maybe 15 western teachers - fewer than 1/2 women; if I remember, maybe 6 of us...

One of the Korean staffers played volleyball with a young women teacher (maybe 28 years old) with short red-brown (dyed) hair, brown eyes, and maybe 5'9" tall.

He started to chat me up about the volleyball game. I'm 5'4, 55 years old, long dark brown hair, and blue eyes.

Koreans recognize Russian women? HAR HAR

How Do I Love Canada?
Let me count the ways....

Actually, I think that would be a new thread, mon ami*.... though I'm sure most of these poor Russian girls would rather be in the land of the Red Maple Leaf than the Land of the Not-So-Calm-Mornings, esp after what they've been through the Night Before.
