I'm travelling out of Incheon airport next month and the flight is pretty early. Basically, I'll be spending the night at the airport. Anyone done this before? I've done it all over Europe (Gatwick is great for this!), but not yet in Asia.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Unless you can check in the night before, you will be sleeping landside I guess. I can't think of many places there.

You'll be alright- the airport is like a ghost town at night, and if you go down to the basement, near the opticians there are some fairly comfortable padded seats.

If you want to splash out a bit you could sleep in the sauna, I think it's 8,000 or something- open 24 hours, no idea what the sleeping room is like but for that money it's got to be worth a look- you can have a shower and brush up before the flight too.
Men only though, so if you're travelling with a lady, she's scuppered.

there are a ton of hotels in the airport town square near the airport. Yeah its pricey (70,000 won is a minimum) but the places are nice and they have shuttles to the airport.

I rec the Hub Herb hotel, they are in the Lonely Planet book. Get to ICN call them (031-752-1991) and they will come and pick you up at exit 7 on the departure level

Yep, there are many hotels next to hotels, in that large area with many hotels. You should find a hotel there. Confused
