You forgot to put *all of the above*. Well.. except hate.. I would choose all of the options you gave us. I am a bit bored (yeah.. I am a 24 hour mum, that is sometimes lacking in stimulation), I want to give and share information and I want some stimulation (see above)....
But I have to say - I complain wherever I go.. It's human nature because we are not rational. We get annoyed easily (OK, speaking for MYSELF only, I get annoyed easily) and so we complain. Doesn't mean we are racist. |

I post because the missus is asleep and works from 8-5, I work from 3-10 hence with the TV in the bedroom i use the computer when she is sleeping.
I also come here for all of the above(excluding the hate) and to just check out what shappening. |

The question that begs to be answered is why do you post such vicious comments on the board?
Your holier than thou attitude towards others on this board is unwarranted in most cases. You present yourself as an all knowing genius and simply ridicule everyone.

So don't you think some koreans might be offended when this board calls them cheats, liars, petty, or sluts? Korean girls are not sluts. Some are. Some that I've dated have been. But not all. And the ones who aren't probably get upset that this board calls them that.
So, yes, I exaggerate. Yes, I provoke. Yes, I make you think about your actions. So sue me. I too have a right to post here. (Actually neither of us have right to post here, we both have the privilege.)
But if I can give you pause, if I can make you aware of the pain your thoughtless, vengeful, vindictive, posts of misdirected anger cause, even for just a fraction of a second, then I've made this board a better place.
If a hagwon owner does you wrong, blast him to hell. If a girl screws you over, call her a bitch. But just remember that you're dealing with personal experiences and not a whole race or nationality of people. |

At last you're making sense.
We foreigners are not without blame. We often behave like spoilt children in Korea. We expect to be treated as a special case. You know why? Because Koreans treat us as such.
That's one of the main problems with foreigners in Korea. We are treated as a different species. Like the Korean species is so different from the foreign species.
If Koreans realised that foreigners are just like them but from a different country then everything would be a lot more beautiful.
Problem is that Koreans often treat foreigners as a different species. You are foreign. I'm Korean. Therefore we are different. |
