A couple of mates of mine did this last week and it sounded great, so a bunch of us are going to a forest near Chuncheon over Chuseok to do that whole fresh air thing.

Has anyone ever tried to book a cabin in a forest over the holiday time? I saw an article that said the cabins were pretty empty since most koreans are visiting their family, but I'm still a bit nervous about just showing up without a reservation.

resurrecting (sp?) this old thread to ask if James or anyone out there knows which forest cabins in Korea allow dogs...? anyone? there are two mentioned in the article at the beginning of this thread, which is a start... how about the chuncheon cabins -- see any dogs there James?

Thanks for any help! Very Happy

I didn't see any dogs, but then there weren't really many people either.

What I did see was a lot of rabbits running around which I'm sure your dog would have a great time chasing- maybe a good idea to call ahead first to make sure it's OK though!

thanks for the quick reply, James! I was just looking at your blog about your Chuseok visit there. Looks like a great spot and I'd love to visit the birthplace of ߰.... we'll see what they say about dogs, I guess.

I was just reading that it's the Holy Land for all those Japanese ajummas who worship Yonsama too. Apparently there are loads of locations where they filmed "Winter Sonata" around there- you can even pose with a cardboard cutout of him where it looks like he's hugging you.

I don't care if he's circumcised or not, he still looks like Harry Potter Lite.

Look at him!!! Does he even shave?? He's so asexual. I saw him on tour in Japan on TV. All the Japanese ajummas were really digging him. No younger girls though. Just older women.

I bet he has some dark, nasty secret. No one is that nice.
