seems there is alot more to the story... in her letter it said she wanted to earn money. well she'd earned some decent money, especially as it was her money that bought the apartment that they were living in... the problem being that her mother is a problem gambler, and seemed to have lost most of the money she had earnt gambling... due to this people around her (possibly mother, definately managment etc.) suggested that she associate her body with some of the bigs in Korea, in an effort to earn that money she so desperately desired. Obviously this would affect most people... its also been suggested that she wasn't meant to be in the business, didn't have the personality to but alot of the ish behind her... her mother seems to have pushed her alot. regardless of the circumstances a very unfortunate result for such a beautiful person.

Where are you getting that info from may I ask?

How sad. Four days after she graduated from university.

very sad!! there are people to blame for her death!
she was hurting inside and know cared for her and or saw it..
they only saw dollar signs and more fame!
her manager, mother, brother, and everyone else who tried to bleed her are all to blame!
A woman like that doesnt just kill herself for nothing..
she was being forced to have sex with old men in the industry so she can get more famous which she hated.. but her mother gambling debt and her brothers pressure and mangers forcing her.. she felt like a used DOLL.
she didnt kill herself.. they killed her! the industry killed her!

Funny how the newspapers seem so shocked by these incidents. How could she have killed herself? She was hot!!

I was just watching TV, and they were doing another retrospective on Lee Eun Ju.

Anyway, they showed this picture, the one they had at her funeral. Of course it is sad that she died, but when I see such a radiant smile on someone, I find it extra sad that they could eventually find life so difficult.

It keeps on snowballing and growing bigger.

Her obit just made the March 7th edition of TIME magazine (Asia Edition).

Me wonders if her death will cause a shake up Korea's movie industry and instigate a clean up of it's dirty practices.
