Hey,
I just wanted to let everyone know, that there will be a new foreign bar opening in Busan on Saturday March 5th, O'briens.
O'briens is an Irish Pub, and has one other location, in Changwon. Where it remains the favourite watering hole of expats like myself ^^

Cheers!

Directions: Get off at the Gaya (No 221 on the green line) subway stop. Go out exit 2 and walk straight 20 metres and it is on your left.

I'll be there with bells on!!!!

I'll be there supporting the owner in his opening and wish him the best of luck having had the suffering of having known him well for the past 3 years Wink

All in Busan get on out because it will be a HUGE!!! drinking session.

Look I'll be there...and you know i never go to any Dave's things so if you want to get to meet me this is the chance Very Happy..actually don't worry about it, i wouldn't want to meet me either Wink

Won't be there till about 10:30 as i have things on in the early evening but I'll be kicking on all night and might head down to Vinyl later.

I hope everyone has a big night and a good time

Good job pendragon82 for getting the work out. I wonder who you are among the Changwonians????

Just want to say had a pretty good crack last night and the place is really nice.

Even if it was snowing like srazy and the drive back to Changwon at 7 o'clock this morning was incredibly mad with all the snow and snow chains on the tyres of our car.

I am indeed one of the Changwon people Very Happy And just because, if you spend a lot of time at O'briens we've probably met - though pending the amount of alcohol consumed, the memory may be fuzzy ^^

Should be a nice change. I was only there for a couple weeks, but I never found any establishment catering to westerners in Busan that wasn't covered in russian or filipina whores and Juicy-girls.

Where will this place be? Where are other good places in Busan?

Don't mind Korean places, but when I go down there I'm usually with other westerners to begin with.

Yes..I am one of those people as well who have met many people but stuffed if I can remember who because it is an alcohol haze a lot of the time. Very Happy

I am there a lot on Thursday night having a few beers and a chat and a game of poker....maybe I would be out 2 weekends a month, but split it between there and I.P. but I usually stumble into there later in the night, around 1 or 2.

Just want to point out that this Saturday the new O'briens bar in Busan(Gaya) is having a big St. Patties Day party which will kick off at about 3 o'clock in the arvo (so i've been told) and will crack on late into the night....

Should be a good one.....and I'll be there downing a Guinness.

The new and only Irish owned bar in Busan is just outside Gaya subway stop which is two stops from Seomyeon and there is both Guinness and Stella on tap. Guinness will be 5,000 and Stella 3,000 until 8. Not too sure if you drink Guinness but it's the only bar with Guinness on tap in Busan, the rest are part of the hotels. (sorry for stealing that bit Austin Wink )
