| Can't really help, just wanted to add I like glasses on a pretty face as well.... sometimes it seems more attractive than no glasses on certain faces. |

I totally agree with the notion that glasses can be terribly attractive.
Often when I'm walking around the Sydney CBD, there are those corporate types, in their skirts (or pants), hair tied up and wearing those thickish horn rimmed glasses. Like almost Buddy Holly style, but sleeker.
It sends me weak at the knees. :)
There aren't that many famous women who are wearing glasses as part of their day to day image. I think most attractive women would look just as appealing in glasses, as long as the frames are right. :)

And it's a stereotype perhaps but don't people with glasses often look smart? Maybe even gentler, or less aggressive? Maybe that's part of the appeal too. I told a girl once I thought she looked great with glasses even though she preferred her contacts. But I said, hey you just got a lot smarter and still look just as pretty! Not a bad line, eh? |

OH MY GOD...Tina Fey! I totally forgot about her. Not only could someone consider her attractive, but funny and smart as well. You should definitely show your student a picture of her. (Of course the Weekend Update stuff might go over her head.) |

| I think gajackson was right on the mark about the glasses shops showing pictures of beautiful Korean women wearing glasses. Just tell her to look at those? |

But for some reason I can't honestly think of ANY famous glasses-wearing "beautiful women". Not just beautiful but also famous for being smart, high-achieving etc etc. I don't want to encourage the "image is everything" and the "women are just to look pretty"attitude of koreans either.
But suggestions of "famous" attractive smart glasses-wearing (and preferably asian) women? Anybody? |
Didn't Julia Louis-Dreyfus wear glasses sometimes on Seinfeld? |

This is probably not what you want, but I would say the easiest way to find pictures of hot chicks with glasses would be to find a soft porn site focusing on college chicks, teachers, business women....Before the clothes come off obviously. Don't waste your time with hardcore sites, there they'll be spending most of their time in suggestive poses, even before the clothes come off. Also, the nature of softcore means that they typically have to have good picture quality, which is better if you have to blow them up for a print out.
As far as recognizable names though...Hmmm....They mostly wear contacts I think. I think Julia Roberts, definately, sometimes, actually most older female celebrities sometimes. Their eyesight goes just like anyone elses. The trick will be finding pics. Brittney Spears wears glasses, but when I GIFed her just now, I couldn't find a single pic with them on.
Frankly, I would guess that your best bet would be something like people magazine, you can check that out without buying, if it comes down to it.
And dude, business women or politicians are fine and dandy, but when it comes down to it, sex appeal or glamour is still going to make the biggest impression for most girls I imagine. |

A bit off topic, but being a four eyes myself, I kind of like that Korean culture shows a lot of heart throb Korean men wearing glasses.
My friend, an utterly stunning woman, was sporting glasses for a bit. Her contacts were bothering her. But then she went and got that stupid lasik eye sugery. Grr. |

I wear glasses most days, but I think I look better without them...it's just easier to put them on in the morning.
If I know I will be photographed, I will wear contacts.
I do know some people who look better with them on, but I don't think I am one of them. |

| Tiger Beer has done it again. This is a very old thread. I'm sure the adolescent mentioned in the OP is over her complex about glasses or has contacts by now. |
