looking to stay in Korea beyond my contract for April and May. May be able to stay with friends but not sure yet. Just wanted to know where I could look to find accommodation for this short period of time and if its generally possible. |

www.gosi1.net -- full of goshiwons, which are essentially one-rooms where you can live short-term for quite cheap.
The page is in Korean, but relatively easy to navigate. |

There are also many apartments available for that period. If you look on one-room websites many of them list short term rentals (one month or possible two. Not six months). The websites are generally all in Korean but with a dictionary at your side it's not too difficult to navigate.
You can get a really decent sized place furnished for around 500,000 per month (expensive for a permanent option bt cheap for just one or two months).
Do a search on Koren google for one room written in Korean. Should be useful. |
