Has anyone noticed the Korean Herald has been hard to find on subway news stands these days? I have no problem finding the Times but the Herald seems to have vanished. Even a 7-11 near me where I could always find the Herald only seems to carry the Times.

The new color has confused the vendors too much, maybe.

I'm a newspaper junkie on weekends. I like to read them all. KT, KH, IHT plus the Asian Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. I like KH's arts reporting better than the IHT's Korean insert.

Apparently, many people are saying that the lack of Korea Heralds has got something to do with the SBS news program about the teacher scandal. In fact, there are a remarkably increasing amount of things that have something to do with the teacher scandal, including the recent Italian hostage crisis in Iraq. I also heard that we were supposed to die at midnight on New Years Eve 2001, but I think that's bogus, because that was long before the recent teacher scandal that only could have triggered something like that.

Is the SBS program also the cause of the disappearance of that Club Runner guy from the Weekender section of the KH? Or was it because the column was just plain crap?

I wish the SBS program would also sink that column that always seems to be about Itaewon bar girls in the IHT.

It's one of the improvements they have recently made at the paper.

You can't find it.
