Korean men also have a huge chip on their shoulder or complex about westerners 'stealing their women'. Japanese guys just don't have this complex that is so evident in Korea. Maybe comes from the servant/master part of their history.

I agree with you but you are overlooking the fact that Korean men get the SH**T kicked out of them in a tough army for two plus years...this pretty much takes care of any individualism they may have had(not that it would have been much in the first place.)

On the subway in Fukuoka a few years ago the guy next to me was perusing a porno comic quite casually. I saw some picture of a schoolgirl bent over exposing all.

I thought... hmmm. this is different.

The Japanese seem almost European to me. They are accustomed to their cleanliness and wealth unlike any other people I can think of. I like the women. But there is this feeling that their surface behavior belies their truer feelings, like they are polite as a duty, not as an act of kindness. I can't imagine them telling you that you are fat and ugly and hairy, unlike Koreans. At least you know where you stand with Koreans.

It is definitely a unique country.... more unique than most places I would guess.... (if "more unique" makes any sense)

I like hanging out with Japanese much more than Koreans. They are more fun.

If I could have my job here over there, I'd be there.

But at the same time, I like my job and I definetely don't dislike Seoul. So no stress about staying here either.

I dated a girl with a bum as nice as Tiger's pic. I went out with her a few times. But she was a weird girl. Nice but weird.

We were under 25. I never slept with her though, despite recurring fantasies.

She also had the Big cha-chas.

Corporal, the one or two million Korean men that you mentioned who didn't care, could refer to the older generation, the guys whose eyesight is shot and can't distinguish between a Korean guy with a Korean girl and a western guy with a Korean girl;

its a definite possibilty worht considering....

Here's a little rundown on my opinions because I know you're all waiting to hear them.

1. Koreans generally just have wretched taste in music. Everybody knows this right? Sorry to say..

2. Japanese chicks can be crazy as hell. Somebody said Japan was 'more unique' than other countries and I agree. In this case, unique = crazy as hell.

3. Its an arrogant fantasy that so many Korean guys really care about how many Korean girls you do.

4. Koreans do it a bunch. Certain Korean guys (the cool ones) are getting a lot more ass than you. Yeah, that's right, even you.

5. Did somebody mention Japanese porn? Maybe I should start a new list for that one.

I used to think Japanese porn was great, but now I'm not so sure- any country where it's OK to show a girl being raped by a surgeon whilst under anaesthetic, but not either male or female genitalia is pretty whacked.

I can't stand slap bass, bands that take their shirts off, bands that use childrens choirs in their tunes- all of which counts against 'the chillies'- I think Anthony Kiedis is one of the biggest tools ever to walk the planet, and naming a song "Ska Tissue" is just unforgivable .

Truth be told RHCP are genuinely, my least favourite band of all time- if they were playing outside my apartment, I'd shut the curtains.
