I'm sorry for putting this question up on the Korean job discussion forum but I've been unable to post on the China forum.
I still have a sizeable video collection in Korea and my significant other is going awol with me for 6 months, intending to kick back and leave the household duties to my housekeeper, wants to bring more than a dozen videos with her(she can't stand chinese television).
Does anyone know if the VHS standard for Korea is workable in China? I know this is tricky with DVD's as the major movie companies security protect their discs with a regional code standard.(US & Canada 1, 2) (China, 6).
I really would like to buy one of these local combo VHS/DVD/VCD/DVCD/MP3/CD player dittis as they're so cheap. But, I don't want to piss her off either.
