There is a book full of these at Citybooks, but I heard a gem today. I wish I had the Korean (someone else please post if you know it).
It goes something like, "He who is angry is the one who farted."
It explains why some Koreans explode in anger when they are embarrased.
I really thought of KJ Ill when I heard that one!
I have a feeling that there are some other great Korean sayings that could be posted here to help us understand the culture better. Anyone know some more? |
