I've got nothing to back that up, except that I just found out Seoul has
77 Domino's Pizza locations.

For comparison, Busan has 11, Daegu 7. I know Seoul is bigger but not that much bigger. I haven't seen any taco stands in Daegu yet either. I wonder if you guys ever eat Korean food.

Living in Gangnam (sorry to sound like DW! Laughing ) you don't really have to eat Korean food. For example I'll have a Subway sandwich soon for lunch.

All the western cuisines are represented in some way in Seoul as far as I can see. Itaewon has a great selection of foreign restaurants. Most of them good quality.

But western food in Seoul in general is still over-priced and usually sub-standard. I usually stick to Korean restaurants because it's delicious and cheap.

daegu has 2 venues that sell tacos.
one that sells donairs.

i'm still waiting for the quality improvements.

there seems to be more subway restaurants per capita here in Daegu, compared to Seoul... so, er...Daegu is not Seoul.

Stop being so modest. You not only live in Gangnam, you live in DAECHIDONG in Gangnam.

Our part of the city almost feels like some North American city with basically every food chain, retail chain, etc you can think of. Its all here, alongside all the regular Korean stuff. There is no doubt that it is THE PREMIERE location not only in Seoul but in all of Korea.

Its ok. I was actually asking for your LOCATION not your place. But you couldnt resist bragging, could you airportboy. I guess living on some backwater (not Kangnam) you can afford a place like that. But everything is cheap outside Kangnam. I noice you live in a deluxe suite (B). Whats the matter? Couldnt get the Vabien Suite? Too pricey eh?Smile

I don't recall anyone asking what restaurants were outside your officetel either, but sometimes it's nice to share.

And yes, the Vabien suite at 12,000,000 a month was a little outside my price range. Is it within yours?

there's nothing lowly about teaching- it's the chosen profession of my Mum, brother, sister, aunts, uncles, cousins- you name it. But I don't see why working at an airport makes me a boy either.

Anyway- domino's pizza- yeah there are loads of em- but do they use kimchi as a topping?

You must be happy to have flown halfway around the world to live basically as you would do at home.

I lived in a small town for 2 years. So I paid my dues. I didnt fly in to live like home, but its a nice change to be living in a great neighborhood now.
