|
|
Does anyone know where I can find a cheap return ticket to Seoul from London? London-Seoul/Seoul-London. I won't be returning though.
I've tried surfing the web looking for cheap prices but the best I found so far was for £520.00.
Can anyone recommend a good website? or any other links?
On a side note, when you purchase a return ticket but without needing to use the return portion, would it be cheaper to just book the return for within two weeks after departure or does that not make any difference in price?
Thanks |

You can almost always get roundtrip tickets to Europe for 800000won, or less.
I usually check www.interpark.com first. I don't think it's the cheapest, but their prices are competitive, the site has a good interface, and they are totally trustworthy. It's basically the Korean equivalent of amazon.com. I did a quick search for you and found JAL tickets for 768000won (the cheapest was China Air for 670000won, but I don't know if you want to go that cheap). If you can't read Korean, you can always ask a friend to help out. |

If you are travelling from London, you could try this site www.flightcomparison.co.uk
There are a number of return flights around the 400-450 quid range. |

yep i'll be flying from London to Seoul but won't be using the return ticket, just need to make sure i'm not stopped from boarding the plane because i only have a one-way ticket. Also want to avoid any hassles from korean immigration at incheon airport.
i'll check that site out, thanx |

The sub-500pound flights are usually London-Frankfurt-Seoul with Lufthansa.
I've done that outward and inbound about 6 times. Always under 500 quid. |

I do that a lot too. Lufthansa is a very good airline! |

Airline Network (www.airline-network.co.uk) has these prices for a return ticket:
Royal KLM: £429 Incl. taxes
Lufthansa: £434 Incl. taxes
Air France: £444 Incl. taxes
Single is about 50 quid cheaper.
My first choice of airline would be Lufthansa, Alitalia comes second and third would be Air France.
Good Luck!
P.s. would you bring me some typhoo teabags over??? I will give you the money back!!!

Well I found a flight for 444pounds return to Seoul which isn't bad, but my recruiter wanted me to buy an open return valid for a year but how do I do that? |

Who is paying, you or your boss? Open return fares are a lot more expensive. |

Airline network
Lufthansa £694
Departure Date: 24 March 2005
Return Date: 24 March 2006
Destination: Seoul
Departure Airport: London Heathrow
Airline: Lufthansa
Class: Economy Class
Journey Type: Return
Change Return-Date Charge (after outbound travel): Yes. No Charge.
Basically, you buy a one year return ticket and after you leave home you can change your return date free of charge within that year.

I think I'll stick to the one-month return for two reasons, 1)I'm paying initially and 2)If things turn sour I've got a return ticket home. Plus it's about 300pounds cheaper that way.
I'll just use the money given to me for my flight to buy a cheap one-way ticket when I leave korea. |
