| I usually have the same IP for about a month. Before, it changed when I restarted, so I could reconfigure my domain settings and continue to host my awesome website on my home computer. Then yesterday, I'm at work and suddenly my site is down. I couldn't FTP in either so I started to worry. Gas explosion? Fire? Cat pulled the plug out? Then when I get home, the link light is off and the red "CHK" light on the modem is on. I open firefox, the red light goes away, the green lights come on, but my IP has changed. What's up with that? |
