Car-poo is ok.
Haven't been to a Korean Costco yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks for the labour info, desultude: Wal-mart's atrocious record is one reason I didn't shop there back home. Their attempt to bully city council into ignoring zoning regulations was another. They'll never get any money from me.

I thought the Carrefour I used to go to in Bundang was good. I was impressed. Best thing I saw for groceries in 6 years in Korea. Stepped in a Walmart once in that area around the end of #3 subway (Ilsan), not so impressed. Have not been in a Costco.

All stores seem to be getting a bit better over time. I was happy recently just to buy grapefruit juice and beans! And someone on another thread once asked if i was ever happy?

Wink

(jaj has been through enough thank you)

Wait, what? Mircowave burritos? I haven't seen those yet! That just confirms my answer... COSTCO!!! I love it. I buy cheese, laundry detergent (Korean stuff really irritates my skin), Jolly Ranchers for my students, tortillas, canned chicken, mac & cheese... I could go on. :0)
