To answer my q's...never. Did it 6+ years with no worries...even whilst immigration officials were walking about a complex I was visiting.

If I were in Cheonan, I would post a sign, next to that one, making fun of their horrible English skills. Maybe write "Me no cantee write Englishee. Me big stupid. Me need that native teacher private teacher. Me hagwon bad hagwon and no have native teacher. Me p*nis and dog p*nis, size same-same."
Or I could be more subtle and take a big fat red marker, circle the mistakes on the sign, and write "ٺ" next to it.

I just put that up on my homepage a little while ago and the response has been...more than I expected. This is fun.
If you can read Korean, enjoy!

We've got the sign, too. And we just built a fire pit in the garden.
Hmmmm....

I really like the red marker idea, though.

How about putting up another sign in the exact same manner to report adultery going on around room salons? That's a crime too.

I've been in Korea for about 5 years, but will be heading back in the next year or so. I'd like to get one of those banners and hang it up in my front lawn back home, put a banner underneath that said "Remember the Koreans", with some 1950 Korean War photos of Foreigner soldiers. Then I would have a list of Korean products exported abroad, Hyundai cars, Samsung Electronics, etc.

If American War Veterans can put a dent in the French Wine Industry, they can certainly put a dent in the Korean export market.

I'm making signs for the thousands of unlicensed deokbokki carts throughout the country, which are also illegal. Same with the veggie-selling ajummas sitting on the sidewalk, which I will tape the sign to their foreheads.

Damn (wiping a tear away) PCTGirl, you make me nostalgic for uni... you and I would have gotten along famously, I imagine. I almost got kicked out of school several times for such pranks (well, okay, mine were a bit more serious). I'm sure I would have been expelled if they knew who did some of them.

Where is Cheonan? Where is the sign? Quick. Someone double dog dare me!

...see Jimmy, in other threads we'd be seeing these same people wanting illegals tossed from the country because they're devaluing our jobs...

No one's denying that you can't still find it. However, sales of French wine in the States went down quite a bit due to France's arrogance and US veterans' reactions.

It's just that sales went down and it did hurt the French wine industry. I saw this myself on French TV.
