Comic books.
Yo-yos.
Weapons of all sorts: fighting sticks, knives, bb-guns, throwing stars.
Stink balls.
Knitting.
Video games.
Toys with noise-making devices.
A four-foot section of a large bamboo tree.
A dog.

What do yours bring?

Korean girls traditionally can't get their ears pierced until they go into university. And then sometimes they still need their father's permission. This one 11 year old girl in my class got her ears pierced. She brings in her small collection of earrings. Her and two other girls in the class moon over them. It's really a silly little sight. A bit cute in a way. Other times they bring in candy and have these little candy sharing parties.

I'm just glad Yu-gi-oh cards are a dead fad.

My boss had a collection seized from students. It was sizeable. Enough so to make a Unix geek envious.

A ten year old girl has the class in stitches about something. I tell her to put it away. After class she shows me a felt key ring fob with a miniature cock and balls.
