Couple Swapping Operator Arrested
Police have arrested an operator of a spouse-swapping Web site with some 5,400 members nationwide.
According to Pusan Kangseo Police Station, the Web master, identified by his family name Yu, 37, set up the paid Internet site, www.bubuplus.net , in September 2003. Yu made some 30 million won ($30,000), who paid 15,000 won per month. Members of the Web site had sex with a different partner, sometimes two to three different people at the same time, moving from one motel to another, police said. Members had to be at least 25 years or over for male members and over 23 for female members.
Several executive officers of large corporations, medical doctors and high-ranking government officials were arrested for having group sex in October 2003, causing another public outcry.

Can you just imagine the outcry if the person who started this sex club was a foreigner?!?!?!?
Gesh! The whole f*#&$^% country would jump on the band wagon and run all the foreigners out of korea!
But because it's a korean...well now...that's OK.
How two faced are we?! |

Members are said to include upper-class Koreans. Busan police detained on Tuesday a 37-year-old man identified as Yu for founding and operating the website and arranging for what police described as "abnormal" sexual relations between the community's members.
Police said about 450 users were lifetime members. However, police admit to being on shaky ground. They say while swinging may be detrimental to public morality, it is a consensual activity and there are no legal grounds for punishing it.

Haha, so, based on the comments I've read here, the police don't enforce the law, and what they do enforce is nowhere to be found in the law.

Wow! That explains one of the great mysteries of Korea!
If I ask my korean friend why there are so many "adult motels" everywhere, they always said, "Normal Koreans don't go there," etc.
I always wondered how they stayed in business. Now I know. |
