I think Koreans consider it rude to blow your nose in public...maybe that's why. Rolling Eyes

Blowing one's nose is considered to be a very dirty habit. Hocking is considered an olympic sport in the ROK. Go figure.....................

I also wondered why so many people pick their nose in public. On the bus, train, in class. I would love to take these kids aside and tell them ot to do this. One very beautiful girl, who is 9 (i think) picks her nose all the time It is hard to look at the class while some one has their finger shoved up their nose digging around. Yet when I sit on the floor these kids will look at the bottom of my socks with disgust and say "oh very dirty". Of corse the bottoms of the socks get dirty from walking on the floor. I think it is alot more dirty to sit in class picking their noses.

You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose...but you can't pick your friend's nose.

You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose. But you can't roll your friends into a sticky little ball you can flick away.
